WikiSpaces: Constructive Practice
Simply put, this is constructivism. Collaborative authorship, peer editing, constructive practice…WIKIS offer learners an opportunity to interact across space and time. As authors, students can interact both freely and reflectively. That thoughtful interaction becomes more constructive for their peers, and in turn, they new construct knowledge of their own, based on connections made both with information and with others. WikiSpaces offers commercial online wiki space for the masses…for educators, they offer ad-free space that is simple to set up and simple to use.
